Air Canada is preparing for the future of international travel with the addition of the Airbus A350‑1000 to the fleet. Air Canada has placed firm orders for eight aircraft, with purchase rights for eight more, and expects first deliveries in 2030.

The Airbus A350-1000 will strengthen our position as a leading global carrier. With exceptional range, enhanced payload capability, and strong operating economics, this next‑generation aircraft expands what’s possible for our long‑haul network and elevates the experience for our customers.

Complementing the existing fleet, the A350‑1000 will give Air Canada added flexibility to support a growing, diversified international network. These aircraft will play a central role in shaping Air Canada’s next era—connecting our customers, our hubs, and our country to the world.
