Air Canada to Suspend Flights to the Caribbean and Mexico at the request of, and to Support Government of Canada COVID-19 Mitigation Efforts.
Beginning January 31 until Friday, April 30., 2021 Air Canada is temporarily suspending flights to Mexican and Caribbean destinations for 90 days in response to ongoing COVID-19 concerns.
To help ensure customers are not stranded abroad, Air Canada plans to operate a number of one-way commercial flights from affected destinations after January 31 in order to return customers at the suspended destinations to Canada. For a complete list of click here
Here’s what you need to know:
– Refunds permitted (per Goodwill policy) and processed to original form of payments per customer booking. Link to Goodwill policy
– Refunds applicable for travel period from January 30 to April 30, 2021 only.
– Refund waiver code to be added in the waiver field. If waiver field not applicable, please ensure to add the waiver code in the OSI or remark field of the PNR prior to refunding. Please refer to Air Canada Refund Services Reference Guide
