Air Canada is happy to announce that more space will be available on our flights from Scandinavia due to adjustments in our Revenue Management System. Until recently the GDS availability has been driven by point of sale. E.g. tickets sold in Sweden, but with departure from Copenhagen, could from time to time experience different availabilities in the GDS, depending of our geographical location.
With the introduction of POC – Point of Commencement – it is alone the starting point of the travel – e.g. Copenhagen that determines the availability and it doesn’t matter from which country you book an Air Canada flight any longer. You will all get the same access to the same number of seats and booking classes.
