Before your customers flies with us to Canada, we want to make sure you are aware of the new entry and quarantine requirements imposed by the Government of Canada.
Effective February 22, 2021, in addition to providing a negative pre-departure COVID-19 test, all customers arriving in Canada must take two (2) COVID-19 molecular tests – one at arrival at the airport and one as part of an at-home test kit to be completed later in the quarantine period.
You and your customers can refer to our Government Entry Requirements website which highlights important information.
Customers who are connecting to another destination within Canada, must take the test on arrival and complete the mandatory hotel stay at their first point of entry into Canada (except for those customers who are exempt from the arrival testing and mandatory quarantine). As customers will need to quarantine at their first point of entry, Agencies are required to re-book their connecting flight.

If your customer is being exempt from the 3 night hotel quarantine, please insert on PNR: SSR OTHS EXEMPT FROM 3 NIGHTS HOTEL
Please note this exempt SSR remark that is being evt. added in PNR is not an authorization, it is simply to prevent PNR from being automatically rebooked by AC with the mandatory 3-night hotel stay.
We ask that you reach out to your respective customers to encourage them to proactively re-book their domestic connections. If they do not, Air Canada will cancel their connecting flight and risk the possibility of being re-booked on a flight that may not be as convenient for the customer.
Please ensure your customers are aware of all necessary requirements for entry, exit from or transit through, each country/province on their itinerary regardless of if the flight is operated by Air Canada or another carrier.
