We’re pleased to announce Air Canada and Sabre have formed a strategic distribution partnership, resulting in Sabre as our newest GDS partner to provide agencies and travel buyers with another GDS-based NDC connection option. Agents will be able to access a full range of Air Canada’s NDC-sourced content via their existing Sabre access, available in the coming months.
We’re proud to be taking this next step with Sabre in providing the broadest range of rich Air Canada content, travel options and services to our customers and agency partners. This new partnership is the result of long-standing discussions, and it marks a significant next step towards delivering on Air Canada’s distribution promise: a smooth transition for agencies and travel buyers – both larger and smaller.”

The program was officially launched in Canada on Wednesday, June 14, at which time agencies and travel buyers can look forward to the availability of the following notable components, in addition to many other features and benefits:
- Additional content on NDC technology including best available seat inventory and discounted ancillary pricing on paid and Preferred seats, in addition to domestic Basic fares.
- Amadeus Travel Platform – Air Canada’s NDC content becomes available on its first GDS-based solution as one of our four flexible NDC access methods.
- NDC coupon incentive on eligible NDC bookings made directly with an Air Canada NDC API connection or via select NDC-certified technology partners between June 14, 2023, and December 31, 2024.
