We’ve worked on providing additional flexibility to give you and your customers greater confidence in booking with Air Canada. Whether your customer wish to cancel an upcoming trip, are not able to travel due to new entry restrictions, or whether they already hold a travel credit. We are pleased to offer you more flexible options for tickets issued up to December 31, 2020, where the original travel dates are between March 01, 2020 and December 31, 2021.
We greatly appreciate your patience while we upgraded our system to offer you and your customers the same options across all booking channels. We are pleased to provide GDS-issued bookings, the ability to chose below available options:
- Continue to retain value for future travel; travel must be completed within 24 months from the date of cancellation. For this option one (1) free Name Transfer is possible – Please refer to the process outlined here
- *New* An Air Canada Travel Voucher – Transfer the remaining value of all tickets in a booking and associated services to an Air Canada Travel Voucher. The voucher has no expiry date, is fully transferable and can be used multiple times.
